Automation Features
Easy to use automation tool allows the system to take actions after an event. These events or triggers can be unique or a combination of events and can start multiple actions.
Boolean functionality: multiple conditions can trigger one action; single conditions can trigger multiple actions; conditions can be set up as "and" conditions as well as "or" conditions. Example 1: If motion is detected or an alarm is triggered, move the PTZ to a preset position and increase the recording rate to 30 fps. Example 2: If motion is detected and the time is between midnight and 8 AM, send email alert and increase frame rates.

Archiver- In addition to support for local and network attached storage, the Archiver will dramatically increase the overall file usage via the following options:
Copy recorded files from Video Insight Server to another storage location on a scheduled daily basis after video is x number of days old
Recompress - On a scheduled basis recompress the original video into a much smaller file to increase storage capacity.
Trim - On a scheduled basis, delete frames from the original file. For example, the original file was recorded at 20 fps, the Archiver can reduce this file to 10 fps after 1 week. In addition, after x number of days, the Archiver can reduce the fps again to say 1 fps.
Health Monitor - Comprehensive remote monitoring of system status. Each Video Insight Server, on an customizable interval, can send an outbound message to the Health Monitor with operational statistics. The communication is only outbound from the server will work behind firewalls without opening up ports.

Customizable Levels of Warnings- warnings and error messages depend on the severity of the condition. For instance, issue a warning email when there have been no messages from a particular server for 15 minutes. Issue an error email when there has been no message from a particular server for 1 hour.

Associate camera with POS System
Search allows the user to search transaction history by certain predefined searches such as All Events, Transactions greater than $50, etc. Click on any line and the associated video for that transaction will be played. You can also restrict the search by camera and by Event times
Advanced Search provides a mechanism for searching transactions for matching text. For instance, you can do an advanced search for the text Log In. Then only the events with the text Log in will show in the transaction history.
The POS iPlayer will allow you to highlight certain types of events. Highlights can be customized by key words and by individual name to quickly view times and associated video.
